HDF conducted a session on "Hazards of Tobacco Consumption: The Electronic Cigarette Epidemic" at Environmental Sciences department of Quaid-i-Azam University.
E-cigarettes are becoming popular especially among youth, studies have shown that gasses in e-cigarette vapors can harm the lungs, heart, brain and immune system,
1 drop of e-liquid = 7 puffs.
E-Cigarettes run on batteries and heat up nicotine, flavoring and other chemicals. They turn them into a vapor that you breathe in. Many chemicals that cause cancer are found in this vapor. That includes formaldehyde, heavy metals and particles that can get stuck in the deepest parts of your lungs.
