Qualification: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan Chartered Accountancy, Chartered Accountancy (1979 – 1984), Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab, Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce, (1975 – 1978), Gordon College Rawalpindi Intermediate (1973-75).
Mr. Rashid Ibrahim established a firm and is a senior partner of Septentrio Global Consulting, after serving PwC for 24 years with its affiliated firms In Pakistan Coopers & Lybrand (5 years) A.F Ferguson & Co (19 years). He was the Country Tax Leader of A.F. Ferguson & Co for Pakistan. He qualified chartered accountancy in 1984 from Taseer Hadi Khalid & Co. Remained Manager accounts head office and hotels and motels of PTDC from 1983 to1985, Partner Khalid Majeed & Co from 1987 to 1989, Partner Jawaid Qadeer Rashid & Co from 1989 to 1995, shareholder of Abacus Consulting from 1996 to 2000 and founding partner of College of Financial Management Sciences till 2000.
He remained Vice President and Council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and chairman and member of various committees of ICAP. He is at present President of Rotary Club of Islamabad Cosmopolitan, President of Rawalpindi Islamabad Tax bar Association, Director Saif Textile Limited, Chairman Audit Committee of Saif Textile Limited, Director SPARC, Founding Trustee of Bright Star Mobile Library, Managing Trustee of AIR Trust, Secretary Cosmo Community Health Care Trust etc. Member of Benevolent Fund, Education and Training Committee, Quality Assurance Board of ICAP. Remained member of the Management Committee of Islamabad Golf Club. Played golf, cricket, badminton, basketball, table tennis etc.
